QTL Mapping

Isoflavone, protein, and oil are the most important quality traits in soybean. In this project, we utilized the QTL mapping and transcriptome analysis to investigate the major genes which influenced the accumulation of these compounds in soybean seed. Initially, several stable QTL associated with major quality traits were obtained via the combination of traditional quantitative genetic methods and meta analysis. And then, several candidate genes were obtained through integrating the gene functional annotation of QTL, and expression analysis with RNA atlas.
